Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist

Location: Morristown, New Jersey

Job Description

• Work in a large acute care facility as part of a team providing exceptional patient care.
• Responsibilities include:

  • Patient evaluation
  • Establishing plans of care and treatment programs
  • Providing interventions and patient/family education
  • Documenting interventions and billing appropriately
• Support Lead Clinicians in competency development and implementation.
• Participate in orientation of new staff and serve as a clinical instructor for students.
• Exercise independent judgment on moderately complex cases with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• License: New Jersey License to practice Physical Therapy.
• Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy academic program.
• Experience:

  • 4 years of experience as a Physical Therapist (higher end of 0-4 years preferred).
• Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in acute care within a large academic medical setting.
  • Board Certification as a Specialist suitable for acute care.
  • Completion of a successful clinical affiliation with the facility.

Contract Length

• 10 weeks
