Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Broadview, Illinois
Employment Type: Travel Health Services

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care including executing provider orders, administering medications, assisting in examinations and treatments, and applying nursing and supervisory techniques in the care and treatment of inmates/residents. Responsibilities include monitoring inpatient hospitalizations, supervising licensed and non-licensed nursing staff, maintaining medical records confidentiality, auditing pharmacy use, providing health counseling and education, and assisting with accreditation processes and legal matters related to healthcare services.

Required Qualifications

Education: Graduate from an accredited college, university, or nursing program with a degree or diploma in nursing.
Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional nursing experience.
Other: Valid driver's license.

Additional Information

Must be able to perform emergency procedures and coordinate medical services.
Ability to maintain security and confidentiality in a correctional healthcare environment.
Experience with documentation, reporting, and compliance with healthcare regulations is essential.
