Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Neptune, New Jersey

Job Summary

The Registered Respiratory Therapist provides and administers all aspects of Respiratory Care Therapy and supportive equipment under supervision. Responsibilities include:

• Providing respiratory therapy under medical direction for patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies.
• Assisting with intubation and managing ventilator set-up.
• Evaluating patient needs, including disease education and coordinating with healthcare professionals.
• Building rapport with patients, caregivers, and team members to support care goals.
• Educating patients and caregivers based on identified needs.
• Performing other assigned duties.
• Adhering to organizational competencies and standards.
• Physical requirements: lifting, pushing, pulling a minimum of 5 lbs., and standing at least 1 hour per day.
• Regular contact with medical personnel and visitors.

Required Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.

Certifications & Licensure

• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA certified.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
• Current and valid New Jersey Respiratory Care license.
• Current and valid New Jersey Registered Respiratory Therapist license.

Experience

• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs.
• Strong accountability for patient care and teamwork.
• Exceptional focus on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
