Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (Travel)

Location: Red Wing, Minnesota
Employment Type: Travel Contract

Job Description

• Provide assessment, treatment, and monitoring of cardiopulmonary disease across the continuum of care.
• Function as part of an interdisciplinary team to coordinate and provide continuity of care.
• Quickly and accurately assess patient conditions and communicate changes, diagnostic results, symptomatology, and treatment responses to the care team.

Contract Length

• 12 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in Minnesota.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Respiratory Therapist or Respiratory Care Practitioner experience within the last year.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or healthcare-related field preferred.
• Previous hospital experience preferred.
• Additional NBRC specialty credentials preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to function with initiative and independent judgment.
• Desire for continuous quality improvement.

Experience Requirements
