Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist

Location: Southfield, Michigan
Employment Type: Staffing - Supplier Sourced
Contract Length: 13 weeks (89 days ≈ 13 weeks)

Job Summary

• Deliver life-support, resuscitation, monitoring, and various medical gases therapy to patients.
• Perform invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures for Intensive Care and General Practice Units patients.
• Maintain clinical expertise across various departmental assignments.
• Communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, physicians, and other healthcare staff regarding patient care needs.
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately.
• Supervise, direct, and delegate tasks to Respiratory Therapists, respiratory orients, externs, and students as assigned.
• Complete necessary and accurate patient billing information.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Michigan.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year.
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
