Job Opportunity: Anesthesia Tech Non-Certified

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Contract Length: Approximately 12 weeks (82 days ≈ 12 weeks)

Job Summary

Under general direction, provides assistance to anesthesiologists and CRNAs during pre, intra, and post-operative care of patients receiving anesthesia. Responsible for supplying and maintaining anesthesia equipment and supplies across all anesthetizing areas, including cleaning and replacement between cases. Floating between departments and/or local locations within 20 miles is required.

Essential Duties

• Assist anesthesiologists and CRNAs during anesthesia delivery
• Provide and maintain anesthesia supplies and equipment in proper working order
• Support organizational change and address customer needs
• Educate employees and customers, transferring knowledge effectively
• Function as an effective team and contingent member
• Apply superior skills to achieve quality outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Anesthesia Technician, with experience within the last year
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• High school diploma or GED required

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of experience preferred in one or more of the following areas: Recovery Room, ICU, Emergency Room, Operating Room, Med/Surg, Pharmacy, or Bio-Med setting
• Experience with EMR systems, EPIC preferred but not required (training provided on-site)
