Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position

Location: Lake City, Florida

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care including executing provider orders, administering medications, assisting in examinations and treatments, and applying nursing and supervisory techniques in the care and treatment of patients. Responsibilities include monitoring inpatient hospitalizations, supervising licensed and non-licensed nursing staff, maintaining medical records confidentiality, auditing pharmacy use, providing health counseling and education, and assisting with accreditation processes and safety reporting.

Contract Length

• 12 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum 1 year of correctional nursing experience within the last year

Additional Information

• Must perform technical and clinical nursing procedures within scope of education and licensure
• Ability to work independently using sound judgment while following policies and procedures
• Experience with medication administration, emergency procedures, and patient assessment required
• Maintain security and confidentiality of medical records
• Participate in quality assurance and compliance activities
