Description
Registered Nurse - Home Health
Location: Detroit, Michigan
Contract Length: 17 weeks
Job Summary
Provide direct patient care in the home under general supervision. Assess the need for other allied health services such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, nutrition, speech pathology, and social work to ensure integrated home health care delivery. Perform related duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum of 9 months of clinical nursing experience
- At least 1 year of experience in a Home Health setting, with Home Health experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Reliable transportation and telephone
- Ability to lift, carry, transport, and move clients if needed
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills to interact effectively with diverse populations
- Effective communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare personnel
Preferred Qualifications
- Acute care experience
