Description

RN – Mother Baby

Location: Detroit, Michigan
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Summary

Provides leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and families. Communicates pertinent patient and family information effectively to the healthcare team. Participates in identifying and resolving variances from patient goals to ensure quality outcomes.


Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Michigan
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Minimum of 1 year of Maternal-Newborn nursing experience, including experience within the last year
  • Experience working with High Risk patients
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)

Specialty Experience

  • Specialty: Mother Baby nursing
  • Years of experience: Not explicitly stated; assume entry-level to experienced RN in Mother Baby specialty
