Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology
Location: Neptune, New Jersey
Employment Type: Clinical
Shift: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM (10 hours/day, 40 hours/week)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
- Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.
- Identify patient needs and determine priorities through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care through initial and ongoing assessments.
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care.
- Document care according to standards, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
- Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support adoption of innovations in care delivery.
- Provide patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing practice models.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in acute adult oncology, specializing in leukemia and lymphoma, in an inpatient setting.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for New Jersey.
