Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Ambulatory
Location: Rochester, Minnesota
Employment Type: Travel Clinical Allied
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour shifts (6:00 am–6:30 pm or 6:00 pm–6:30 am), 36 hours per week
Job Summary
- Provide nursing care to assigned patients under direct supervision of an RN or assigned supervisor.
- Collect data through observation and communicate information to assist in patient assessment and care planning.
- Participate as a member of the healthcare team and accept delegation from RN/supervisor and provider.
- Deliver care according to patient care plans, organizational policies, and principles of relationship-based care.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and ability to mentor and instruct.
- May participate in committees or quality improvement projects.
Required Qualifications
- Valid LPN/LVN license in Minnesota
- Graduation from a Practical Nursing program, or one year of LPN experience if the program graduation was over two years ago
- Minimum of 1 year of Long Term Care experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ambulatory Care experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

- This is a travel assignment in an ambulatory care setting.
- Shift length and schedule require 12-hour shifts with a total of 36 hours per week.
