Description
Registered Nurse - Med Surg
Location
- Jackson, Michigan
Job Summary
- Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care.
- Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and patient/family teaching.
- Communicate pertinent patient and family information effectively to the healthcare team.
- Participate in identifying and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals.
Contract Length
- Approximately 13 weeks
Shift Details
- Auto offers approved
- Candidates may be asked to float to other units, including a lockdown unit.
- Location is acuity adaptable.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of general Med Surg unit experience.
- Current Michigan RN license.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience working on a surgical floor.
Additional Information
- Overtime billed after 48 hours.
