Description

Radiographer II

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Staffing - Supplier Sourced
Contract Length: Approximately 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Perform advanced-level professional work in exposing and processing radiographic images and fluoroscopy examinations under general supervision.
  • Circulate to various diagnostic radiology areas such as surgery, trauma, and pediatrics as assigned.
  • Operate standard and portable radiology equipment for radiographic exams and fluoroscopy studies, including intravenous pyelography, cystography, gastrointestinal series, and body section radiography.
  • Assist physicians with specialized imaging procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and film output issues.
  • Serve as a resource and preceptor for other Radiographers and students.
  • May participate in training to enhance skills in Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or Special Procedures.
  • Maintain records, inventory, and equipment for the assigned area.

Shift Details

  • Overnight shift: Thursday, Friday, Saturday from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
  • One shift of call per month
  • Surgery experience required for floating to the Operating Room (OR)
  • Proficiency or willingness to train in O-arm and C-arm equipment

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist within the last year
  • Certification by ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI
  • Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Experience in surgery settings (required for floating to OR)

Additional Information

  • Recognized as an expert in the field or actively participating in training programs to enhance radiology skills.
