Job Opportunity: X-Ray Technician

Location: Morristown, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel - Clinical Allied Health
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 PM - 11 PM)
Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Job Description

• Perform imaging and treatment procedures following state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment; ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Monitor and coordinate daily imaging procedures; adapt as needed.
• Must be comfortable working in the Operating Room (OR).
• Ability to work independently in a large facility environment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technician license in New Jersey
• Minimum 1.5 years of Radiology Technician experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Experience as an X-Ray Technician
• Experience with GE Healthcare imaging equipment

Skills and Competencies

• Knowledge of various imaging equipment setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Awareness of current trends and advances in clinical practice, healthcare informatics, and imaging technology.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills (oral and written).

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
