Description

Registered Dietician

Location: New York, NY
Employment Type: Staffing - Supplier Sourced
Contract Length: Approximately 14 weeks

Job Summary

Monitor patients for food and drug interactions and provide education accordingly.
Consult with physicians regarding appropriate diet modifications.

Responsibilities

Screen and assess patients accurately and timely based on levels of care.
Determine patients' nutritional needs and status; provide follow-up care.
Interview patients and/or families to obtain food habits and preferences.
Interpret relevant laboratory, physical, and social data related to nutrition care.
Provide nutrition education and document diet instructions and patient understanding.
Modify patient menus as needed.

Required Qualifications

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential issued by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist within the last year.
Experience as a Dietitian-Nutritionist.
