Description

Job Opportunity: RN - Labor & Delivery

Location: West Bloomfield, Michigan
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Openings: 1

Job Summary

Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care in Labor & Delivery.
Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and patient/family teaching.
Communicate pertinent patient and family information effectively to the healthcare team.
Participate in identifying and resolving variances from patient goals to ensure quality outcomes.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, with at least some experience within the last year
Post Partum experience
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

Additional Information

Candidates without BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications will not be considered.
