Speech Language Pathologist
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Staffing - Supplier Sourced
Contract Length: 13 weeks (90 days)
Job Summary
Under general supervision, evaluate, diagnose, and recommend treatment plans for speech and language communication disorders.
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform evaluations of speech, hearing, and swallowing difficulties upon physician referral.
- Make preliminary diagnoses and develop treatment plans.
- Determine the need for individual or group therapy for each client.
- Document client progress.
- Assist students in clinical rotations to meet their objectives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of normal speech, language, and hearing development.
- Ability to perform diagnostic tests for communication disorders and formulate treatment plans.
- Strong interpersonal skills with patients, clients, and coworkers.
- Ability to interact patiently and encouragingly with clients, especially when frustration levels are high.
