Registered Nurse - Comprehensive Rehab Center
Location
- Peoria, Illinois

- 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Provide nursing care to patients in a comprehensive rehabilitation setting.
- Perform initial patient assessments and develop, implement, and modify individualized rehab plans of care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation team members to achieve patient goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing care.
- Educate patients and families on disease processes and self-care skills.
- Participate in rehab rounds and team meetings.
- Ensure patient and employee safety by identifying and addressing hazards.
- Support professional development of peers and pursue own learning needs.
- Utilize specialized knowledge and clinical skills to care for patients with physical disabilities and chronic illnesses.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Minimum 3 years of rehabilitation nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Additional Information
- Must fulfill all departmental competencies related to nursing and rehabilitation care.
