Job Opportunity: Mammography Technologist I

Location: Greenfield, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel - Clinical Allied
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 1st shift
Hours: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week


Job Summary

  • Perform mammographic exams following medical and department protocols.
  • Ensure diagnostic quality imaging within radiation safety and OSHA guidelines.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to images, equipment, and quality control.
  • Prepare exam rooms and patients, providing clear explanations and instructions.
  • Produce high-quality images, properly labeled and archived to PACS.
  • Assist radiologists and medical staff during exams.
  • Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and adhere to infection control and sterile technique standards.
  • Use Epic, Radiant Information Systems, and mammography reporting systems for scheduling, documentation, and billing supplies.
  • Support lead/QA technologist functions and assist with quality control, scheduling, and coordination as needed.
  • Provide a positive teaching environment for coworkers, students, and new staff.
  • Perform end-of-day reconciliation and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Proactively contribute to department efficiency and teamwork.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Mammography Technologist license in Wisconsin
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Mammography Technologist, with experience within the last year
  • Knowledge and application of radiation safety principles
  • Proficiency with PACS image archiving and reconciliation
