Work Schedule

10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
On-call required

Specialty Focus

Operating Room with experience in Urology and Gynecology
General Surgery also involved

Job Summary

Coordinate and provide direct nursing care for assigned patients
Educate patients and families
Support transitions of care
Plan, implement, evaluate, and communicate all phases of nursing care
Provide leadership through preceptor and informal leadership roles
Participate in quality improvement efforts and committees or projects
Delegate patient care based on skill level, experience, patient acuity, and resources

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Florida
Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in leadership roles
Experience in General Surgery
Experience in Urology
Experience in Gynecology / OB/GYN
