Description
Job Opportunity: Surgical Tech 2
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel Allied Health Clinical Position
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Shift: 1st Shift (Days)
Hours: 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Days Off: Wednesdays off
On Call: Optional
Job Summary
- Collaborate with the surgical team to provide patient care and support surgical procedures across various specialties.
- Perform specialty procedures requiring advanced knowledge and skills.
- Engage in higher-level collaboration with peers for surgical patient care decisions.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist, including experience within the last year.
- Proficient in ENT and Neuro surgical cases.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED, plus one of the following:
- Completion of a Surgical Technologist Program.
- Completion of a Military Training Program as an Operating Room Specialist.
- Completion of a Froedtert Health sponsored Apprentice II Program.
Certifications
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Additional Information
- Work hours typically from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Collaboration and patient care focus are essential.
This position is suitable for Surgical Technologists seeking a travel assignment with specialty case experience in ENT and Neurosurgery.
