Description

Electrophysiology Technologist

Overview

Location: Hackensack, New Jersey
Schedule: 11:00 AM–7:30 PM or 9:00 AM–7:30 PM
Hours: 40 per week
Shift options: 5x8 or 4x10
On-call required
Weekends and holidays as needed
Contract length: 40 weeks

Role Summary

Assists physicians with invasive cardiac, peripheral diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures, including temporary and permanent pacemaker placement
Supports circulatory support devices as indicated
Works with electrophysiology procedures, including mapping, ablation, and implant devices

Required Qualifications

Electrophysiology Technician experience within the last year
1 year of Electrophysiology Technician experience
Cath Lab Technologist experience
Graduate of a Cardiovascular Technologist program, Radiologic Technologist program, or Associate of Applied Science degree
BLS issued by the American Heart Association

Key Skills

Strong written and verbal communication
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
