Description
Radiographer II – Edmond, Oklahoma
Job Summary
Perform advanced-level radiographic and fluoroscopy imaging under general supervision. Operate standard and portable radiology equipment for various diagnostic procedures including intravenous pyelography, cystography, gastrointestinal series, and body section radiography. Assist physicians with specialized imaging procedures and troubleshoot equipment issues. Serve as a resource and preceptor for other radiographers and students. May participate in training to gain proficiency in CT, MRI, or Special Procedures imaging.
Work Schedule
- Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM (10-hour shifts)
- On-call one week at a time every 5th week
- 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist or X-Ray Technician within the last year
Certifications & Licensure
- Current ARDMS, ARRT, and/or CCI credentials required by the hiring department
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Skills
- Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of radiographic equipment
