Registered Nurse (RN) - CVOR

• Detroit, Michigan

Job Summary

• Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and patient/family teaching.
• Communicate pertinent patient and family information effectively to the healthcare team.
• Participate in identifying and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Shifts: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM, or 6:00 AM–6:30 PM
• Scheduling options include five 8-hour shifts, four 10-hour shifts, or three 12-hour shifts, all starting at 6:00 AM.
• On-call requirement: 48 hours of call per 6-week schedule period.
• Must be available for on-call one weekend per month.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Michigan
• CVOR experience within the last year (minimum 1 year)
• Operating Room (OR) experience, including OR Scrub RN experience
• Cardiac scrub experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
