- Shift: Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM (7 hours per day)
- Contract length: 9 weeks
Job Description
- Perform or assist in ultrasound examinations.
- Provide technical assistance to Radiologists.
- Prepare and examine patients according to departmental procedures.
- Operate, adjust, clean, and maintain ultrasound equipment.
- Ensure adequate supplies are available.
- Capture images onto PACS and transfer to physicians' workstations.
- Assist in orientation and mentoring of new Ultrasound personnel.
- May handle scheduling and transportation coordination.
- Follow safety precautions to protect patients and staff from hazards.
Required Qualifications
- Ultrasound Technologist with 0 years of experience.
- Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) credential from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Associate's Degree in Diagnostic Medical Technology.
