Job Summary

The Radiologic Technologist I performs diagnostic radiographic examinations with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include patient positioning, operating radiographic equipment, restricting radiation exposure, performing portable x-rays in various settings, processing x-ray films, assisting with radiopaque contrast media, and completing related administrative duties. The role requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods, as well as adapting care to meet diverse patient needs.

Required Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• Completion of clinical and ARRT requirements

Licenses & Certifications

• Valid Radiology Technologist license in New Jersey
• ARRT certification
• BLS issued by American Heart Association

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year
• Experience with Epic system

Physical Requirements

• Lift a minimum of 5 lbs.
• Push and pull a minimum of 10 lbs.
• Stand for a minimum of 6 hours per day
