Radiologic Technologist - Travel Assignment

Location: Eau Claire, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel (Clinical Allied)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Produce high-quality radiologic images meeting established departmental standards.
• Operate a variety of radiography equipment and technology, including Siemens systems.
• Practice safety guidelines for self, support personnel, and patients.
• Foster teamwork through effective communication.
• Maintain flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times, and lengths.
• Work independently with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Respond to on-call pager as needed, including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.

Work Schedule & Assignments

• Two primary shift options:

  • Evening shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week
  • Day shift with occasional night coverage: 8.5-hour shifts starting between 6:30 AM and 10:00 AM, 40 hours/week
• Occasional overnight shifts (6:30 PM – 6:30 AM) based on department needs.
• Work areas include Outpatient (OP), Inpatient (IP), Emergency Department (ED), and Portables (with limited fluoroscopy).
• Weekend requirement: Every 3rd weekend, potentially moving to every 4th weekend depending on staffing.
• Possible call shifts on weekends.

Required Qualifications

• Radiologic Technologist with at least 1 year of experience within the last year.
• Completion of at least one prior travel assignment.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT R) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
