Ultrasound Sonographer

Location: Mankato, Minnesota
Employment Type: Travel Clinical Allied
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Produce high-quality ultrasound images for physician interpretation, meeting established radiology standards. Must demonstrate competence with various imaging equipment and technology.

Work Schedule

• Primarily 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each, nights Monday-Thursday (8:00 pm – 6:30 am)
• Transition to overnight weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday) during the last several weeks of the contract
• Initial training shift from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm

Responsibilities

• Follow safety guidelines for self, support personnel, and patients
• Communicate effectively and foster teamwork
• Provide high-level patient service through proper communication, technique, and safety
• Maintain flexibility to staff various locations, shifts, and shift lengths
• Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure optimal patient care

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, with experience within the last year
• ARDMS certification
• BLS certification
• Experience as an Ob/Gyn Sonographer
• Experience as a Vascular Sonographer
