Job Opportunity: RN - Cath Lab (Travel)

• Hours per day: 12
• Hours per week: 36
• On call as needed

Job Summary

• Provide competent nursing care to patients in the Cath Lab, including pre-operative and postoperative assessment and education.
• Perform thorough, systematic, and accurate patient assessments across all age groups (Pediatric to Geriatric).
• Deliver direct patient care and support the perioperative team by prioritizing patient needs and responding to changes in condition.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of nursing processes and patient progress.
• Demonstrate knowledge and use of emergency equipment and procedures.
• Follow National Patient Safety Goals, including Universal Protocol and patient identification standards.
• Use safe transfer techniques and proper body mechanics.
• Promote patient and family-centered care with professionalism, courtesy, and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.
• Support completion and evaluation of Pre Admission Testing (PAT) orders for surgical patients.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Jersey
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Specialty

• Interventional RN experience required

Physical Requirements

• As defined by Occupational Safety standards

This position is ideal for experienced critical care RNs with interventional Cath Lab skills seeking a travel assignment in New Jersey.
