Description
MRI Technologist
Location: Elmhurst, New York
Employment Type: Acute - Allied
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: 12 AM – 8 AM
- Alternating weekends and holidays required
- Training: 2 weeks, 9 AM – 5 PM, includes EPIC class
- Work hours: 7 hours per day, 35 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid MRI Technologist license in New York
- Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience within the last year
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology
- Certification and registration in Magnetic Resonance Imaging issued by either:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or
- American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association)
