Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Summary

• Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and patient/family teaching.
• Communicate pertinent patient and family information effectively to the healthcare team.
• Participate in identifying and resolving variances from patient goals.

Work Schedule

• Shift options:

  • 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Scheduling options include five 8-hour shifts, four 10-hour shifts, or three 12-hour shifts, all starting at 6:00 AM.
• On-call requirement: 48 hours of call per 6-week schedule, including availability for 1 weekend per month.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan.
• Minimum of 1 year of CVOR experience, including experience within the last year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

• Clinical knowledge and analytical ability to develop effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Effective communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare personnel.

• Block scheduling is utilized.
