Description
Registered Nurse
Overview
- Specialty: Cardiovascular ICU nursing
- Location: Neptune, New Jersey
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts
- Weekend requirement: Every third weekend
- Holidays: Not required
- On-call: Not required
- Float requirement: Yes, to other ICUs
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Jersey
- CVICU (2 years of experience)
- CVICU experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Telemetry Certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Stepdown/surgical nursing experience
- Thoracic nursing experience
- Vascular stepdown nursing experience
- LVAD competency
- Telemetry experience
Clinical Experience / Skills
- Balloon pump
- CCRT
- ECMO devices
- Cardiac outputs
- SWAN
- Chest tubes
- Post-cardiac surgery patients
Preferred Education
- BSN preferred
