Surgical Tech - Travel
Location: Morristown, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel, Clinical - Allied
Job Description
- Assist in the care of surgical patients during procedures.
- Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary for surgery.
- Understand the surgical procedure and anticipate surgeon’s needs.
- Ensure quality patient care and maintain the sterile field throughout the operation.
- Follow instructions from Physicians and RNs, adhering to operating room policies.
- Practice Standard Precautions at all times to maintain a safe environment.
- Maintain safety in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory agencies.
Schedule & Hours
- 3 days per week, 12.5-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 8:00 PM)
- Includes 1 weekend shift every 4 weeks
- Approximately 37.5 hours per week
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technician (CST) credential required
- Minimum of 1 year of Surgical Technician experience, including experience within the last year
- High School Diploma or GED
Additional Information
- Shift is primarily AM with extended hours covering early morning to evening.
