Description

Registered Nurse — Emergency Department

Location

Urbana, Illinois

Contract Length

13 weeks

Schedule

Night shift
36 hours per week
12-hour shifts
7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
No block scheduling
2 call shifts per 6-week schedule period
Call shifts are 13 hours, with expectation that the traveler is onsite within an hour

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois
ED - Emergency Department (3 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

BSN
EPIC experience
Trauma level 2 or higher experience
TNCC

Role Overview

Provides nursing care for emergency department patients
Performs patient assessment and develops care plans with providers, patients, and families
Implements and adjusts nursing interventions based on ongoing assessment
Maintains accurate patient documentation
Supports patient and staff safety
Collaborates with staff, visitors, and families
