RN Oncology - Pediatrics
Location
- Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Contract Length

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma
- Oncology (1 year of experience)
- Oncology experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- APHON Chemotherapy
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- Pediatric Hematology / Oncology experience
Preferred Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher from a Board Approved Program
Preferred Experience
- 6 months of Level I trauma experience
Role Overview
- Provides nursing care to hospitalized patients with conditions ranging from simple to complex
- Manages an assigned group of patients
- Documents patient responses and changes in physician orders
- Assists with examinations, minor diagnostic procedures, and treatment
- Monitors patient data and intervenes when necessary
- Administers medications, IV infusions, and blood products
- Communicates care plans and discharge information to patients and families
- Coordinates referrals and delegates tasks to support staff
