Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Job Summary

Provides competent clinical nursing care in a hospital setting
Coordinates and delivers patient care using the nursing process
May be in a charge role or precepting nearly every shift

Key Responsibilities

Assesses patient needs and develops or updates plans of care
Prioritizes and delivers care for patients with complex problems
Communicates and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team
Supports patient and family education and discharge planning
Participates in unit goals, performance improvement, and safe hospital environment practices
