Description
RN MedSurg/Telemetry
Location
- Goldsboro, North Carolina
Schedule
- Nights
- 12-hour shifts
- 48 hours per week
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Education
- Nursing Diploma, or
- ADN or ASN from an accredited school of Nursing
Key Responsibilities
- Provide and coordinate patient care using the nursing process in a hospital setting
- Assess patients and families, including readiness to learn, discharge needs, and safety needs
- Develop, update, and prioritize plans of care with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
- Deliver care for patients with complex physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs
- Perform bedside point-of-care testing as required
- Support patient education, care continuity, collaboration, and unit performance improvement
