Title: Intensive Care Unit - CV
Location: Louisville, Kentucky
Employment type: Clinical–Nursing

Shift: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Hours per week: 36

Role Summary

This RN role provides direct patient care in a cardiac intensive care setting. Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, treatments, discharge coordination, patient/family education, delegation, and participation in quality improvement activities.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kentucky
CCU - Coronary Care experience within the last year
1 year of CCU - Coronary Care experience
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

BSN
Previous nursing experience

Unit Details

10-bed cardiac ICU
Typical nurse-to-patient ratio: 1–2 patients per nurse
Care includes advanced devices and invasive monitoring
