Description

RN-Oncology OP

Location

Raleigh, North Carolina

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
No alternate schedule can be accommodated

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
2 years of oncology experience
Oncology experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Chemotherapy Certification
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in an outpatient setting
Infusion experience

Preferred Education

BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing

Job Summary

Provides clinical nursing care in a hospital setting
Coordinates and delivers patient care using the nursing process
Works with interdisciplinary teams and supports patient education, assessment, planning, and care evaluation
Performs bedside point-of-care testing as needed
Supports unit goals, performance improvement, communication, and safe patient care
