Description
MRI Technologist
Location
New York, New York
Contract
- 9 weeks
- 33 hours per week
- 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Required Qualifications
- Valid MRI Technologist license in New York
- MRI Technologist experience within the last year
- 1 year of MRI Technologist experience
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT Certified)
Preferred Experience
- 2 years of MRI experience
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI imaging procedures
- Position patients and coils for optimal imaging
- Review patient safety questionnaires before MRI scans
- Ensure images are labeled, evaluated for quality, transmitted to PACS, and completed in the radiology information system
- Maintain room and equipment cleanliness and report equipment issues or unsafe conditions
- Provide patient education and assist physicians as needed
- Follow safety and infection control protocols
