Description

Registered Nurse

Location

  • Urbana, Illinois

Contract

  • 13 weeks
  • Day shift
  • 36 hours per week
  • 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Illinois
  • Critical Care Float experience within the last year
  • 1 year of Critical Care Float experience
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Orthopedics experience
  • Trauma experience
  • Experience with Epic

Experience / Skills

  • Trauma 1 experience
  • EPIC experience

Role Overview

  • Provides direct nursing care to assigned patients
  • Completes assessments, care plans, interventions, and evaluations
  • Documents nursing care accurately
  • Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members
  • Floats to various inpatient units, including Medical-Surgical, Oncology, Orthopedic, Advanced Care, and ICUs if applicable
  • May precept staff from various units
  • Completes Unit Nurse Leader Training as needed
