Location

Schedule

• Night shift
• 4 x 10-hour shifts
• Rotating shifts

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Provides comprehensive sleep disorder evaluation and treatment, including in-center and home sleep apnea testing
• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic interventions and provides patient and family education
• May provide general oversight of other sleep center staff

Required Qualifications

• Polysomnographer experience within the last year
• 1+ years of experience in a sleep lab
• Associate degree in polysomnographic technology or completion of a certificate program in polysomnographic technology
• Registered Sleep Technologist (RST)
• American Board of Sleep Medicine
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
• Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists
• BLS issued by American Heart Association

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for sleep testing and perform PAP interface fitting, desensitization, and education
• Review orders, patient history, and supporting documentation for testing appropriateness
• Perform equipment calibration, data quality monitoring, cleaning, and disinfection
• Score sleep/wake stages and clinical events using accepted guidelines
• Perform MSLT and MWT procedures
• Support quality and performance improvement initiatives
