Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois
Med Surg experience within the last year
1 year of Med Surg experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Education

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients
Complete patient assessments and develop care plans
Implement and evaluate nursing interventions
Document nursing care and patient education
Administer medications using the 5 Rights
Delegate and follow up on patient care tasks
Support patient safety measures, including fall, pressure ulcer, isolation, and ambulation precautions
Communicate and collaborate with the healthcare team
Manage admissions, discharges, rounding, and patient flow
