Description
Registered Nurse – Operating Room, Pediatrics
Location
- Chapel Hill, North Carolina
Schedule
- Nights
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Pediatrics (1 year of experience)
- Pediatrics experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Pediatrics OR - Operating Room experience
Preferred Education
- BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing
Role Summary
- Provides clinical nursing care in a hospital setting
- Coordinates and delivers patient care using the nursing process
- Works with interdisciplinary team members to evaluate and plan patient care
- Supports patient and family education, discharge planning, and safe care delivery
- Performs point-of-care testing as required for the care plan
- Contributes to unit goals, performance improvement, and a safe hospital environment
