Description
Respiratory Care Practitioner
Location
- Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Contract
- 13 weeks
- 48 hours per week guaranteed
Role Summary
- Provides respiratory therapy services under general supervision for patients across appropriate age levels
- Administers prescribed therapeutic treatments
- Performs invasive and noninvasive diagnostic testing and monitoring
- Supports cardiac and respiratory arrest response
- Maintains respiratory equipment and records
- Uses computerized medical records to document treatment information and patient response
Required Qualifications
- Valid Pediatric Respiratory Therapist license in Oklahoma
- Pediatric Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- 1 year of Pediatric Respiratory Therapist experience
- Respiratory Care Practitioner experience
Preferred Experience
- Two years of respiratory care experience in a critical care setting
- Previous work in a children’s-only hospital
