• 18:00–06:30
• 3x12s
• Weekend and holiday availability required
• No block scheduling
• May be required to float to areas of equal or lesser acuity

Job Summary

• Provides leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and families
• Communicates pertinent patient and family information to the care team
• Helps identify and implement solutions when patient goals are not met

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Michigan
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience working with Level 2 Trauma patients

Skills

• Clinical knowledge for effective nursing care planning
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services
• Strong communication with patients, families, and hospital personnel
