Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D

Overview

Location: Hackensack, New Jersey
Employment type: Clinical
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Hours per week: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks
Schedule notes: Every other weekend required; holidays required; no on-call

Role Summary

Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care
Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs
Develop and coordinate individualized plans of care through ongoing assessment
Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care
Advocate for evidence-based practice and patient-centered care

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Jersey
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NRP issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

BSN
ACLS
Advanced AWHONN or EFM

Preferred Experience

Minimum 2 years in L&D

Additional Notes

EPIC experience preferred
