Required Qualifications
- Care Coordinator experience within the last year
- Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, laboratory, chemical, physical or biological science
- MLS(ASCP) or MT(ASCP)
- Prior Point of Care Testing (POCT) experience
- Knowledge of Telcor QML
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the POCT program and recommend improvements
- Coordinate evaluation and implementation of test methodologies and instrumentation
- Develop and validate processes and written procedures for new or modified testing processes
- Support data management system functions, including maintenance, system checks, flag review, unknown operator follow-up, approved operator list maintenance, and patient identification error investigation
- Help standardize test procedures across sites
- Review POCT manuals at least annually
- Collaborate on POCT policies and implementation
- Communicate effectively to support quality patient care
