• 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Illinois
• Med Surg (3 years of experience)
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• OR - Operating Room experience

Key Responsibilities

• Provide and manage patient care using the nursing process
• Assess patients, develop and update individualized care plans, and evaluate outcomes
• Complete required documentation, including patient charts and event reports
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care and collaborate with the care team from admission through discharge
• Perform bedside lab testing and obtain lab specimens as needed
• Support patient and staff safety, including use of lift equipment when applicable
• Delegate tasks appropriately and provide goal-focused shift reports
• Educate patients and families using age-appropriate teaching strategies
