RN MedSurg/Telemetry
Location
- Chapel Hill, North Carolina
Schedule
- Nights
- 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Preferred Education
- BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing
Role Summary
- Provides clinical nursing care in a hospital setting
- Coordinates and delivers patient care using the nursing process
- Works with the interdisciplinary team to support patient care, discharge planning, and continuity of care
- Performs bedside point-of-care testing as required
- Supports patient education, care planning, and quality improvement activities
